Safety. Transparency. Thoughtful Growth.
Our Best Windsor.
Friends and neighbors, my husband Steve and I have called Windsor home for 21 years, raising our three children and staying deeply involved in our community through volunteering in classrooms, coaching youth sports, fostering children, supporting local businesses, and serving on local commissions and community boards. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Vice Mayor of Windsor and representing District 4 on the Town Council. With 20+ years in law enforcement, public safety, school safety, and emergency preparedness have always been central to how I evaluate decisions, along with a commitment to fiscal responsibility and practical, common-sense solutions. Now, I’m running for Mayor in 2026 because I believe Windsor deserves a town government that listens, stays within its means, and builds a safer, more prepared future for every neighborhood. — Tanya
My Four Key Pillars.
Fiscal Responsibility: You work hard for your money, and the city should too. I am committed to transparent budgeting and ensuring every tax dollar is spent efficiently to provide the high-quality services you deserve without the waste.
Safety by Design (CPTED): Safety isn’t just about response times; it’s about how we build. I advocate for "Slow Growth" that prioritizes Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). By planning our streets, parks, and neighborhoods with safety in mind, we can reduce crime naturally and keep our families secure.
Listening to You: A leader’s most important job is to listen. My door has always been open as a Councilmember, and as Mayor, I will ensure your voice is the primary driver of city policy. We are building this future together. As always, I can be reached at 707-849-1157.
Finishing the Job: I have several key projects currently in motion—from infrastructure upgrades to correction of structural budget deficits, I am running to see these commitments through to completion, ensuring the promises made to you are promises kept.
